Dakar Institute of Design is an extension of Dakar Design Hub, an integrative design space that provides quality design education and services to aspiring design professionals. DID offers a one-of-a-kind curriculum based on a multi-disciplinary mindset sparked by the desire to bring quality education to Africa. It aims to unlock Africa’s creativity by focusing on an inclusive and sustainable environment. Therefore tbpmx generated a bold and bright identity inspired by distinctive textile patterns in the region that are showcased through bright monochromatic contrasts. These, along with a modular and straightforward editorial, create the stage for a bold and eye-catching logotype that compliments the visual system. Overall the brand aims to pave the way for design education in Africa with a contemporary approach.
