Dakar Institute of Design is an extension of Dakar Design Hub, an integrative design space that provides quality design education and services to aspiring design professionals. DID offers a one-of-a-kind curriculum based on a multi-disciplinary mindset sparked by the desire to bring quality education to Africa. It aims to unlock Africa’s creativity by focusing on an inclusive and sustainable environment. Therefore the branding people generated a bold and bright identity inspired by distinctive textile patterns in the region that are showcased through bright monochromatic contrasts. These, along with a modular and straightforward editorial, create the stage for a bold and eye-catching logotype that compliments the visual system. Overall the brand aims to pave the way for design education in Africa with a contemporary approach.
