Arre

Enterntainment | Mexico

The ARRE music festival, now in its second year, is quickly becoming one of Mexico’s most iconic events. Regional Mexicano is gaining popularity worldwide as it incorporates genres such as rap and reggaeton, giving rise to a new generation of young artists alongside more established performers. In line with this, the branding people developed a visual system that creates collages out of traditional musical elements, such as the trumpet and bass with the wildlife of the deserts of Mexico’s northern border. Inspired by digital street culture mixed with old-fashioned Mexican kitsch, the festival features a metallic wordmark reminiscent of exaggerated cowboy belt buckles, a deliberate mix of typefaces, and a set of warm gradients that contrast with its more over-the-top saturated accents, bringing Mexico’s finest into the global spotlight.

¡Arre, pariente! Ritmo que tira fuerte.
